One of our key clients from the Paper and Pulp manufacturing industry requires an Arabic speaking Business Development Executive to support sales growth, identify new business opportunities, and manage key client relationships in the tissue industry. This role reports to the Sales Manager.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of paper/tissue manufacturing, jumbo rolls, and converting machinery
- Willingness to travel within locally and internationally
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive, target-driven, and able to work independently
1. Sales Strategy Support
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and executing sales strategies to meet company targets.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer inquiries, address issues, and follow up on orders, ensuring timely delivery.
- Work on expanding the customer base by targeting potential clients.
3. Team Coordination
- Collaborate with sales teams and other departments (production, logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth operations and delivery schedules.
4. Sales Reporting
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Track sales metrics like order volumes, revenue, and profit margins, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Monitor sales trends to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
5. Product Knowledge
- Gain in-depth knowledge of tissue products (types, applications, technical specs) to effectively pitch and communicate with clients.
- Stay updated with industry innovations and competitors' product offerings.
6. Pricing and Negotiation
- Assist in developing competitive pricing strategies to maximize profit margins.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients under the supervision of the Sales Manager.
7. Market Analysis
- Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Identify gaps in the market and assist in developing targeted sales approaches for different customer segments.
8. Administrative Support
- Assist in maintaining and updating the customer database and sales records.
- Help prepare sales contracts, proposals, and presentations.
9. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns.
- Liaise with the production department to ensure that products meet client specifications and delivery timelines.
10. Problem Solving
- Address and resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or customer dissatisfaction.
- Provide feedback to internal teams for process improvements.
Additional Requirements
- The ideal candidate will bring 2–4 years of relevant experience in sales or business development, preferably within the tissue, paper, or manufacturing sector. A valid driving license is required due to the travel demands of the role, ensuring effective client visits, market coverage, and support across assigned territories.
