Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and identify critical business functions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and identify critical business functions
- Develop Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP)
- Manage and conduct regular testing of emergency plans (Tabletop exercises / simulations)
- Coordinate with the IT department to ensure alignment and integration of Disaster Recovery (DR) plans
- Monitor the readiness of alternate work sites
- Manage crises during incidents and ensure effective response
- Prepare periodic reports on business continuity readiness and risk status
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SAMA – ISO 22301)
- Promote business continuity awareness across the organization
- Maintain incident records and document lessons learned
- Participate in internal and external audits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following or related fields:
- Business Administration
- Risk Management
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Risk Management
- Crisis or Emergency Management
- Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and implementation
- Hands-on experience in conducting BIA, developing BCP/DRP, and executing continuity exercises
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SAMA, ISO audits) is highly desirable
- Experience in financial, banking, insurance, or highly regulated sectors is a strong advantage
Professional Certifications (Preferred):
- CBCP – Certified Business Continuity Professional
- MBCI – Member of the Business Continuity Institute
- ISO 22301 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor
- CRISC – Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
- CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor (advantageous)
- ITIL Foundation / ITIL 4
- PMI-RMP – Risk Management Professional (optional advantage)
