Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide technical support for our organization’s hardware and software needs. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues with computers, networks, and other IT equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and user-related issues.
Assist with setting up new systems and user accounts.
Monitor and maintain system performance and security.
Ensure proper documentation of technical procedures and issues.
Carrying out other duties as you may be requested by management.
Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate backup procedures
Assist in hardware and software procurement
Support remote employees with connectivity and access issues
Manage and maintain IT inventory
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field (master’s degree is a plus).
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent are a plus.
Minimum 4 years of experience in IT management or a similar role
Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software.
Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) and cybersecurity best practices.
Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent troubleshooting in a fast-paced trading environment.
Basic understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 – AED5,000.00 per month
