Business Analyst – UAE Nationals, MENA Stores
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our business in analyzing business problems, driving solutions, and documenting processes.
The person should have a good understanding of business requirements and the ability to quickly get to the root cause of a particular reporting/BI/data issue, and draft solutions for resolution.
The ideal candidate would have a high attention to detail, a bias for action, and an interest in analytics/BI/automation.
This job is aligned with UAE’s Emiratization initiatives.
Key
Job Responsibilities:
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new resources.
Work closely with stakeholders (internal/external) to understand and automate/enhance existing processes.
Come up with innovative ideas for new work or to improve existing work.
Be open to learning and developing skillsets in the latest technologies and analytical techniques.
Understand how data/analytical frameworks and their work translate to business on the ground.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; BE is preferred.
Experience working in a similar role (at least 1 year).
Exposure to Excel and SQL.
Deadline driven, team player with strong customer focus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on issues.
Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel.
Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and Quick Sight.
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
