Looking for Budgeting & Data Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans in collaboration with departments.
• Monitor and track budget performance and identify variances.
• Analyze large datasets to provide insights on financial and operational performance.
• Develop financial models to support business cases and investment decisions.
• Create regular and ad hoc financial reports and dashboards.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities based on data analysis.
• Assist in setting KPIs and evaluating business units’ performance against goals.
• Support management in strategic planning, resource allocation, and cost efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain and improve budgeting tools, templates, and reporting processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Provide ad hoc reports on project related requirements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated reports to be submitted to the board members.
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• (Preferred) professional certification such as CMA, CPA, CFA, ACCA or ACA.
Experience:
• 2-5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or business intelligence.
• Experience in construction and real estate preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong background in data analytics and financial modeling.
Skills:
• Proficiency in Excel (advanced), Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (MS Dynamic, Odoo) and financial planning software.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Attributes:
• Experience in a fast-paced or multinational environment.
• Ability to simplify complex data and communicate it to non-finance stakeholders.
• Interest in continuous improvement and automation of reporting processes.
