Position Overview
The Budget Analyst will play a critical role in planning, monitoring, and optimizing the company’s financial resources. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can analyze financial data, develop budgets, and provide insights that support strategic decision-making and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial plans
- Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to management
- Prepare detailed financial forecasts and scenario analyses
- Track expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets
- Collaborate with department heads to support budget planning and control
- Prepare periodic budget reports and performance summaries
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, or similar role
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and budgeting processes
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
