Title: Brand Manager

Role Purpose:

Maintain and develop the brands within the brand scope strategically and efficiently by implementing adequate strategies and plans to build valuable and profitable brands that can increase the company’s market share across different channels and geographical territories.

Key Accountabilities:

Daily Operation

Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the brand marketing to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Prepare reports of brand marketing timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.

Brand Management

Identify market segments and sizes for the brand and participate in the formulation of marketing plans to maintain a high market share and increase sales volume.

Follow up on the latest technologies for the brand products and provide the Group Brand Manager with suggestions for new products to be introduced.

Supervise marketing studies conducted concerning the brand products to obtain information necessary for marketing plans.

Analyze the data collected concerning customer satisfaction levels, sales rates, market share, and other data regarding the concerned brand, identify causes of any dissatisfaction or variation, and recommend solutions and actions.

Monitor the sales performance and market share of competitors, profile competitors, and prepare comparisons between Al Safi Danone and its competitor regarding the concerned brand.

Track & monitor brand performances in the market against market factors (competition, consumer trends, market trends, etc.) and develop adequate tactical plans to strengthen the brand position in the market, overcome challenges, and/or capitalize on opportunities.

Brand Development

Participate in the development and marketing of ideas related to the brand and ensure the brand’s spread within its market.

Develop pricing policies that include offers and discounts based on market analysis, the study of competitors’ pricing policies, and the cost estimation for the relevant brand to cater to the achievement of marketing objectives.

Develop brand strategies that fit with the market and consumer needs, and ensure coherence and alignment of brand strategies and objectives across the various brands, to bring them in line with the company’s overall strategy and objectives.

Direction of Subordinates

Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of brand activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.

Provide formal and informal feedback to subordinates to ensure their continuous development.

Policies, Processes & Procedures

Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

Provide instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence to relevant policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled manner

Safety, Quality & Environment

Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Job Requirement

4 years of relevant experience in a Marketing related field

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration
