Job Summary
The Brand Analyst is responsible for supporting the commercial success of the Luxury Retail Division by analyzing sales performance, customer trends, inventory, and market insights. The role provides data-driven recommendations to optimize product performance, improve customer experience, and support strategic decision-making across luxury brands within the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales performance, KPIs, and profitability across luxury retail brands.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and business performance reports.
- Monitor product performance, sell-through rates, and inventory turnover.
- Identify sales trends, customer buying patterns, and growth opportunities.
- Support assortment planning and buying decisions through data analysis.
- Track inventory levels and recommend stock replenishment or transfers.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify industry trends and benchmark performance.
- Develop dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
- Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to support business objectives.
- Monitor promotional campaigns and evaluate their effectiveness through post-campaign analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning activities.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain reporting databases.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in retail analytics, business analysis, merchandising, or commercial reporting, preferably within luxury or premium retail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookups).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as D365, SAP, or Oracle is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
