Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Block Mason to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying blocks, bricks, and other materials to construct walls, partitions, and other structures. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Block Laying: Lay blocks, bricks, and other masonry materials to build walls, partitions, and other structures in accordance with plans and specifications.
Preparation: Measure and mark surfaces to guide block placement, ensuring proper alignment and level.
Mixing Mortar: Mix cement, sand, and other materials to prepare mortar for use in construction.
Reading Blueprints: Interpret blueprints and drawings to follow building layouts and specific designs.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and practices, ensuring a safe working environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with other construction workers, including carpenters, electricians, and engineers to ensure project completion.
Quality Control: Ensure the blocks are laid properly and meet required strength and durability standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Block Mason or in a similar masonry role.
Strong knowledge of construction techniques and masonry materials.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in all weather conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Valid construction safety certifications (preferred).
Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects is a plus.
