BIM Modeler – MEP (Electrical & Mechanical) Jobs in Doha at Gulf Craft Trading & Services WLL
We are looking for an experienced BIM Modeler – MEP (Electrical & Mechanical) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in BIM modeling, MEP coordination, and preparation of technical drawings for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed BIM models for Electrical and Mechanical systems.
- Prepare MEP shop drawings, layouts, and construction documentation.
- Create models for:
- Electrical systems (Lighting, Power, Cable Trays, Low Current Systems, Fire Alarm)
- Mechanical systems (HVAC, Ducting, Piping, Plumbing, Drainage, Firefighting)
- Perform BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Coordinate MEP models with architectural and structural disciplines.
- Review drawings and identify design conflicts and technical issues.
- Prepare as-built drawings and update BIM models as required.
- Support project engineers and site teams during construction.
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience as an MEP BIM Modeler.
- Strong knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Experience in Electrical and Mechanical BIM modeling.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings.
- Experience in MEP coordination and clash resolution.
- GCC/Qatar project experience preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
