Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural BIM Engineer – Infrastructure to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination for road and bridge infrastructure projects. The candidate should be proficient in developing high-quality structural BIM models, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project delivery in accordance with project standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, modify, and maintain structural BIM models for roads, bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other infrastructure structures.
* Prepare detailed structural models and drawings using BIM software.
* Coordinate with civil, highway, utilities, MEP, and architectural disciplines to ensure clash-free and coordinated models.
* Produce construction documentation, shop drawings, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
* Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve model-related issues.
* Ensure compliance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), company standards, and client requirements.
* Conduct model quality checks and maintain model accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support project engineers and design teams during design development and construction stages.
* Assist in implementing BIM workflows and best practices across infrastructure projects.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Structural BIM for infrastructure projects.
* Proven experience in roads and bridges projects.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structure), Civil 3D, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
* Knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is an advantage.
* Familiarity with BIM standards, model coordination, and clash detection processes.
* Strong understanding of structural drawings and engineering principles.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple project deadlines.
