Job Title: Head of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
Location : Al Ain City
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department. As the Head of EYFS, you will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of education and care for our youngest learners. You will play a key role in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance student learning outcomes and foster a positive learning environment for both students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the EYFS team to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning.
Oversee the planning and implementation of the EYFS curriculum.
Monitor and assess student progress and development, ensuring individualized learning strategies are in place.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the EYFS team, fostering a culture of professional development and collaboration.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and the wider community.
Ensure adherence to school policies and local regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the school as a member of the leadership team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience OR 2 year as a Senior Leader in Early Years education.
A relevant degree or qualification in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate a team of professionals.
In-depth understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Educational Leadership.
Previous experience in a leadership role within an international school setting.
