Billing & Revenue Recovery Officer (RCM) – UAEN
For SSMC – Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi
We are looking for a Billing & Revenue Recovery Officer to support revenue cycle operations, with a strong focus on claims billing, denial management, and revenue recovery within a large healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit and manage patient claims electronically
- Identify, analyse, and resolve claim denials, underpayments, and late charges
- Coordinate with clinical, coding, billing, and insurance teams for claim resolution
- Handle rebilling, appeals, and follow‑ups with insurance providers
- Monitor compliance with payer contracts, DOH guidelines, and billing policies
- Prepare denial trend reports and support process improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate billing documentation and respond to payer or internal queries
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare billing, claims, denials, or revenue cycle management
- Strong knowledge of payer reimbursement, eligibility, and compliance rules
- Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT, ICD‑9/ICD‑10 coding
- Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare billing systems
- Experience in a large healthcare facility is preferred
- Arabic language skills are an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED10,000.00 – AED15,000.00 per month
