Role Summary
The role involves supporting the sales of products and spares, responding to RFQs promptly, contributing to sales meetings with clients, and improving the tender process, contribution margins, and business growth. It also includes managing customer orders from creation to shipment, ensuring accurate order entry, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs across multiple countries and time zones.
Responsibilities
Assist Business Development in preparing high-quality tenders.
Improve the efficiency of the tender process.
Serve as the main contact for Key Account Managers regarding opportunities.
Organize responses to RFQs following company procedures.
Coordinate with engineering and other functions to meet customer quality requirements.
Maintain risk and compliance matrices for opportunities.
Ensure quote approvals at appropriate management levels.
Manage handover after purchase orders are received.
Prioritize delivery dates with sales and operations.
Respond to customer order needs and coordinate responses.
Handle end-to-end customer orders for drilling spare parts.
Support customer inquiries, delivery, and issue resolution.
Coordinate with internal departments to meet customer expectations.
Operate within contractual pricing frameworks with decision-making authority.
Deliverables
Cost, schedule, and specification quotes, including deviations.
Compliance & Traceability Matrix and Risk Register.
Tools and procedures for tender process efficiency.
Participation in customer meetings and lessons learned sessions.
Margin approvals before quote issuance.
Support in developing tender and sales support systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
3-5 years of experience in customer support, technical, or commercial roles.
