Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Neds Club, a private members club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.
Job Purpose:
We are currently seeking a professional, friendly, and dedicated Bellman to join our dynamic team and help us uphold our reputation for excellence.
As a Bellman, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and assisting with their luggage, transport needs, and general hotel inquiries.
Your role is integral in delivering a seamless and luxurious experience for every guest from the moment they arrive to their departure.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, professional welcome.
Assist guests with luggage, ensuring that all items are safely transported to and from guest rooms.
Provide information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions.
Coordinate with the valet team to ensure smooth guest transportation.
Escort guests to their rooms, ensuring they are familiar with the room’s features.
Assist with various guest requests, such as arranging transportation, providing directions, or facilitating room service requests.
Ensure the lobby, entrances, and hallways are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.
Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor at all times, ensuring guests’ needs are met with a high level of service.
Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Previous experience in a luxury hotel, customer service, or hospitality role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
A polished, professional appearance.
Ability to lift and transport heavy luggage.
Knowledge of the local area, including popular attractions and restaurants, is a plus.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
