We are looking for a skilled Estimation Engineer to join our Facilities Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for maintenance, renovation, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project requirements and prepare detailed cost estimates for facilities management services.
Review tender documents, contracts, and technical specifications to develop accurate pricing.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to obtain competitive material and subcontractor quotes.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and technical proposals.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary data for estimation.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering solutions.
Keep up-to-date with market trends, pricing, and industry standards.
Assist in contract negotiations and provide post-tender support.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Certificate in cost estimation, project management or FM industry standards preferred.
Minimum 3-7 years of experience in estimation, preferably in facilities management or construction.
Valid UAE Driving License
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, maintenance services, and FM industry pricing structures.
Proficiency in estimation software (AutoCAD) and MS Excel (Advanced).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of contract terms, conditions, and risk assessment.
Experience in Integrated Facility Management (IFM) projects.
Knowledge of SLA (Service Level Agreements) & KPI based contracts
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED8,000.00 – AED12,000.00 per month
