As a Barista, you will be responsible to prepare for Food and Beverage service and serves our guests in line with the Food and Beverage concept. As a Barista, you will provide guests with the full experience that encompasses engaging & personalized service from beginning to end of service. Your role is to turn their moments with us into memories by delivering Equinox`s service promise and the highest level of brand standards and Equinox service standards.
Essential Job Functions:
• Welcome customers, assess preferences, present the menu, and answer questions about beans, brewing methods, and drinks.
• Craft espresso-based drinks (espresso, lungo, latte, cappuccino, etc.) following established recipes and techniques.
• Recommend products, upsell where appropriate, and identify opportunities to attract new customers and expand offerings.
• Stock supplies, pastries, and brewing equipment; perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Uphold Fairmont Service Plus Standards, Accor policies, food-safety regulations, and health & safety protocols.
• Process transactions accurately; complete shift-end reports and safe deposits.
• Attend briefings and meetings; maintain positive colleague relationships; stay current on menus, promotions, and industry trends.
