Curtain and Roman Blind Tailor
Job Summary:
Saif zone sharjah is looking for a skilled Curtain Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, cutting, and sewing curtains and drapes according to customer specifications. You will be responsible for measuring spaces, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure windows and spaces to determine fabric requirements for custom-made curtains.
Cut, sew, and hem curtains according to design specifications and fabric types.
Assemble and finish curtains with pleats, eyelets, rings, or other requested styles.
Install linings, hooks, tapes, and any other necessary accessories.
Advise customers on fabric selection, styles, and designs based on their needs and preferences.
Make necessary alterations to curtains as per client requests.
Maintain an organized work area and manage inventory of materials.
Repair damaged or worn curtains and drapes.
Stay updated on the latest trends and styles in curtain-making.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Curtain Tailor or similar role.
Proficiency in sewing, cutting, and measuring fabrics.
Knowledge of various fabric types, curtain styles, and design techniques.
Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting and stitching.
Ability to work with both manual and industrial sewing machines.
Good communication skills for understanding client requirements.
Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Physical dexterity and stamina to handle heavy fabrics and long hours of sewing.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Vocational training in tailoring or textiles is preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in curtain tailoring.
