Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized and reliable Kitchen Helper to assist our culinary team. The Kitchen Helper will play an essential role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, supporting chefs with food preparation, and ensuring that all equipment and ingredients are ready for use.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in food preparation by chopping, peeling, and measuring ingredients.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Wash dishes, pots, and pans and ensure all cooking equipment is clean and ready for use.
Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and available for the team.
Assist in food plating and garnishing as required.
Help transport food and ingredients between the kitchen and dining areas.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring safe handling of all food and equipment.
Help with organizing and restocking ingredients, making sure they are accessible and properly labeled.
Support senior kitchen staff in preparing and cooking food when required.
Perform other tasks as needed to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting (preferred, but not required).
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and hygiene practices.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Pay: AED2,200.00 – AED2,500.00 per month
