The overall objective of the position:
Responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience through the preparation and presentation of high-quality hot and cold beverages (specialty coffee) in accordance with established standards, ensuring a warm welcome and a clean, inviting environment within the café.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Preparation of beverages: Prepare and serve various types of coffee (Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino, V60/Chemex) and cold drinks with high quality and professionalism.
- Customer service: Greet customers with a smile, assist them in selecting beverages, and respond to their inquiries regarding menu items and preparation methods.
- Equipment operation and maintenance: Properly handle espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment, performing regular cleaning and maintenance to ensure quality extraction.
- Latte Art: Master the skills of steaming milk and creating designs on coffee to present beverages attractively and uniquely.
- Cashier management: Process orders, operate the cash register accurately, and handle cash and electronic payments, issuing receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness: Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring cleanliness of the work area (bar), tables, and equipment throughout the shift.
- Inventory management: Monitor stock levels of raw materials (coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups) and inform the responsible supervisor of any shortages before running out.
