Barista

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Coffee Barista to join our team. The Barista will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness in the coffee bar. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of specialty coffee, a passion for creating unique and delicious drinks, and a commitment to providing a memorable coffee experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-over coffee, and cold brew, using proper techniques and equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, ensuring all equipment is in working order and all supplies are stocked.
• Monitor the quality of coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients, ensuring freshness and adherence to our quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest coffee trends and techniques, continuously expanding your knowledge of specialty coffee.
• Collaborate effectively with other baristas and coffee bar staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.

Requirements

• • • Previous experience as a barista, preferably in a specialty coffee shop, is preferred but not required.
    • Strong coffee brewing skills, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
    • Understanding of coffee origins, roast levels, brewing methods, and flavor profiles. Knowledge of coffee equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
