Our successful Hotel Bar Managers …
• build and maintain a working environment in which staff are fully trained, supportive of each other, motivated and competent
• Must be an avid sports fanatic paired with good knowledge of all sports
• manage and promote our theme nights including quiz and bingo
• maintain and enhance weekly, monthly, yearly sports schedules that will be used internally and on social media
• effectively manage the bar’s administration including  checklists, briefings, monthly training calendars, staff appraisals, handovers, operating equipment control, bar stock control, rosters, forecasts, budget reports and guest charges
• be able to build and maintain strong relations with customers and manage conflict effectively
• maintain the health, hygiene and professional appearance of the restaurant area and all who work in it
• fulfil service requirements promptly and with a positive approach
• work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards. Good numeracy, verbal and written English skills, a tertiary qualification or diploma in hospitality management or similar, Bar/Sports Bar experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel, Avid sports fanatic paired with good knowledge of all sports, be able to build and maintain relationships, Micros systems knowledge
