Position Overview:
The Banquet Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-end catering events and weddings. This role involves managing banquet staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining the highest quality standards. The Banquet Manager will be pivotal in positioning the company as a leader in the Saudi market for premium catering services.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring seamless coordination of all aspects.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized event experiences.
Ensure events are executed within budget and meet client expectations.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and manage banquet staff, including waitstaff and supervisors.
Assign roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth event operations.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing support and coaching.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all banquet services meet the company’s high-quality standards.
Monitor food presentation, service delivery, and overall customer satisfaction.
Implement improvements based on client feedback.
Operational Oversight:
Coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure timely and efficient service.
Manage inventory and supplies required for banquet operations.
Address and resolve any issues that arise during events promptly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-end clients.
Act as the primary point of contact during events, ensuring client satisfaction.
Solicit feedback post-event to improve future services.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in banquet or event management, preferably in high-end catering or hospitality.
