Job Role: Backup/Storage Administrator

Job Description:
The job holder will be primarly responsible for the day to day administration of EMC,HP,IBM storage technologies & Networker,Veeam ,Commvault,Netbackup & other Backup technologies .Required to make necessary architectural design changes and improvements to backup & storage infrastructure and its support its subsystems.
2. Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge Qualifications and Education: The jobholder should have bachelor degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent professional qualification in related engineering discipline with at least 5 years of total experience in similar fields. Experience: At least
5 years plus of expert level experience and similar job role in managing and maintaining storage and backup Infrastructure supporting critical business applications and servers.
5 years plus hands on experiencing in manging EMC, HP, IBM storage SAN systems (VxRail appliance) Hardware maintenance of Storage arrays & software Upgrades. Knowledge: – – – 3. Must Possess knowledge on maintenance of Backup Technologies – Networker, Data Domain, Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup & Tape Libraries. Must Possess knowledge on maintenance of DELL EMC Unity, HP MSA, HP 3PAR, DELL Data Domain, IBM SAN Storage system appliances & SAN Switches.
Must Possess knowledge on maintenance of DELL PowerEdge Physical servers.
