Position: Automotive Electrician
As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and electronic systems in luxury vehicles. You will work with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment and collaborate with experienced technicians to ensure every vehicle meets the highest manufacturer and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in luxury vehicles.
- Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and component replacements.
- Troubleshoot wiring systems, sensors, ECUs, lighting systems, and control modules.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer software for fault detection.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
- Repair and install electrical components according to manufacturer specifications.
- Document repair work accurately and maintain service records.
- Collaborate with Service Advisors and workshop technicians to ensure timely repairs.
- Follow workshop procedures, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive electrical technologies and luxury vehicle systems.
RequirementsMandatory Qualifications
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Automotive Electrical, Automotive Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as an Automotive Electrician.
- Experience working with luxury or premium automotive brands is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diagnostics, and electronic control units.
- Proficiency in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and electrical repairs.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Experience using automotive diagnostic scanners and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills in English.
