Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Automotive Electrician role based in Doha, Qatar. The Automotive Electrician will diagnose and repair electrical faults in vehicles, including wiring, lighting systems, ignition systems, and electronic components. Daily tasks include performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting issues using diagnostic tools, and carrying out repair and replacement of electrical parts to manufacturer or workshop standards. The role also involves working closely with mechanics and service staff to ensure timely completion of jobs, maintaining accurate records of work performed, and following safety procedures in all workshop activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and Electricity, with a solid understanding of automotive electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess proven abilities in Fault Finding and Electrical Repairs for a variety of vehicle types.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Maintenance & Repair, including routine checks and corrective work on vehicle electrical components.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in auto electrical or automotive technology is preferred.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, use diagnostic equipment, and follow safety and quality standards in a workshop environment.
- Previous experience as an automotive electrician or in a similar role within an auto workshop is highly beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.
