We have an URGENT requirement for the position of Automation & Control Engineer (Substation Automation System – SAS) for a Saudi National Grid Project

Automation & Control Engineer (SAS).

Saudi Arabia. Experience
Required:
5+ years (Minimum 3-4 years in SAS Design & Engineering).
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of SAS Base Design & Detailed Engineering Documents
- Configuration of SCADA/HMI (Zenon – Copa-Data)
- Engineering & integration of IEDs, BCUs, Gateways, Network Devices
- Hands on experience with IEC 61850 (MMS/GOOSE), IEC 60870-5-101/104, DNP3
- Design & implementation of SAS Network Architecture (PRP, HSR, RSTP, PTP, SNTP)
- Handling FAT / IFAT / SAT with client & end user
- Preparation of technical submittals, as-built documents & database backups
- Coordination with clients, vendors & internal teams for approvals & execution
- Knowledge of OT Cybersecurity (AD, WSUS, Antivirus, Backup, NMS)
Mandatory Requirements:
- Strong experience in SAS Design & Engineering (NOT only commissioning)
- Hands on experience in Zenon SCADA HMI (Copa-Data)
- Experience with National Grid / SEC SAS standards (TES / TMSS standards)
- Experience in IED configuration & IEC 61850 integration
- Experience in Control Center integration (IEC 101/104 / DNP3)
Hands on SAS DESIGN & ENGINEERING experience
