Happy Pet brings the Happy Dog and Happy Cat brands to pet owners across the Gulf and Southeast Asia. From our Dubai base we run direct-to-consumer stores and marketplace channels across the UAE, Indonesia, and Thailand, with more markets on the way. We are building a small, high-ownership digital team where each person runs their own area end to end rather than sitting inside a large hierarchy. About the role
This role builds the automations that save the team time, and teaches everyone else, in the central team and in local markets, how to use AI tools effectively in their day-to-day work. You’ll be part builder, part trainer, making the whole organization faster and less reliant on manual work.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain automations that connect our systems (e.g. orders, inventory, reporting) so work happens without manual steps.
- Roll out and train staff on AI tools (such as Claude) for everyday tasks like writing, reporting, and content.
- Support the App Developer by applying AI tools to speed up app content updates and edits.
- Identify repetitive, time-consuming tasks across the business and find ways to automate them.
- Track and report on time saved through automation.

What we’re looking for
- 2 to 4 years of experience building automations or working with no-code/low-code tools.
- Genuine interest in AI tools and comfortable explaining them to non-technical colleagues.
- Practical, hands-on problem solver rather than a pure theorist.
- Patient and clear communicator, since part of the job is teaching others.
Nice to have
- Some experience with app content or basic coding.
- Experience training or onboarding colleagues on new tools.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
