Job Function:
Draftsman create technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations, and works with professionals in their field, such as architects and engineers, who provide the product or structure’s details.
Key Accountabilities (includes, but not limited to the following):
Prepares drawings.
Obtains all information related to the project from external (Building contracts, architects etc.) and internal departments, (Production, experts) to produce clear and accurate Plans, Elevation, Section Drawings, Shop Drawings with minimum or no errors.
Issues of conceptual and detailed design drawings
Maintains all standards and rules, as well as specifications for standard and non-standard constructions (i.e. brackets, fixing details and interface details, etc.)
Works in conjunction with the engineers on the development of drawing and the interpretation requirement
Handles production and management of technical drawings which accompany schemes
Develops a system/procedure for obtaining early information on projects in order to avoid last-minute stress and time squeezes.
Prepares and assists in drawing revisions, which are required.
