We are looking for an experienced Auto Parts Specialist with strong knowledge of the GCC automotive spare parts market. The ideal candidate must be technically skilled, hands-on, and capable of accurately identifying, verifying, and managing automotive spare parts. This role will play a key part in developing and maintaining a reliable online auto parts catalogue while supporting the operations and sales teams with technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, verify, and cross-reference automotive spare parts using OEM and aftermarket catalogues.
- Ensure accurate part numbers, specifications, compatibility, and vehicle fitment.
- Build, maintain, and improve an online automotive spare parts catalogue.
- Guide internal teams on correct part identification and applications.
- Research and source spare parts from suppliers within the GCC market.
- Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and sales teams to ensure part availability and accuracy.
- Maintain product data, descriptions, images, and technical information for online marketplaces.
- Support marketplace operations by ensuring accurate product listings and categorization.
- Resolve technical inquiries related to spare parts from customers and internal teams.
- Stay updated with new vehicle models, parts, and industry developments.
Requirements
- Must currently be based in the UAE.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive spare parts within the GCC market.
- Strong technical knowledge of passenger vehicle spare parts (OEM and aftermarket).
- Experience using electronic parts catalogues (EPC), OEM catalogues, or automotive parts lookup systems.
- Ability to identify, verify, and cross-reference automotive parts accurately.
- Hands-on experience in spare parts operations, inventory, procurement, or catalogue management.
- Excellent understanding of automotive components and vehicle applications.
- Good computer skills and experience with Excel and inventory/catalogue management systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- English proficiency is required; Arabic is an advantage.
Important Note
This is a technical automotive spare parts role, not a general sales position.
We are specifically looking for candidates who can:
- Understand and identify automotive spare parts.
- Verify part numbers and vehicle compatibility.
- Guide the team with technical knowledge.
- Build and maintain a reliable online auto parts catalogue.
Candidates with only general automotive sales experience and no strong technical spare parts background will not be considered.
