Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mask vehicle surfaces for painting to ensure a smooth finish.
- Mix and match paints to achieve precise color specifications and customer requirements.
- Apply primer, basecoat, and clearcoat using spray equipment.
- Conduct inspection of finished work to ensure quality and adherence to company standards.
- Perform minor repairs on vehicle surfaces as needed prior to painting.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness of the workspace.
- Collaborate with mechanics and team members to ensure timely completion of jobs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an auto painter or in a related field, preferably in a vehicle repair workshop.
- Solid understanding of painting techniques, color theory, and application methods.
- Attention to detail and the ability to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
