Responsibilities
- Diagnose, test and repair electrical systems in motor vehicles
- Install, maintain and repair wiring, lighting, ignition systems, fuel systems, air conditioning systems and other electronic components on vehicles
- Perform regular maintenance on the electrical systems of vehicles
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and industry regulations
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years experience as an Auto Electrician working with motor vehicles
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of vehicle electronics
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
