Oversee the operation and maintenance of all sound equipment.
Oversee the setup and testing of sound equipment, including microphones and loudspeaker systems, often with the assistance of a systems technician.
Oversee individual recordings of each instrument and vocal in the studio.
Oversee sound checks of the front-end or return system before the live performance.
Coordinate with other departments, such as the lighting department.
Oversee the use of the sound mixing console during the show to create a live sound mix that balances sound levels.
Oversee the addition of sound effects during the show, such as reverb and equalizer.
Oversee the resolution of any technical sound issues that may arise during the show.
Enhance, edit, and mix audio tracks recorded in the studio.
Master mixed and edited tracks by listening to them and then using specialized equipment, such as equalizers or filters, to create a complete final version that fulfills the artist’s vision and is ready for release.
Oversee the recording and archiving of studio recordings.
Minimum Requirements:
Electronics/Audio Engineer with at least 8 years of experience.
Experience in operation and maintenance of sound systems for not less than five years.
