Job Overview:
A Saudi law firm is looking to open a branch in Egypt and is seeking a senior attorney to be part of its legal team. The candidate must be based in Cairo and possess at least ten years of practical experience, along with advanced knowledge of Saudi legal systems and legal practices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal consultations in accordance with Saudi regulations.
- Preparing, reviewing, and drafting contracts and commercial agreements.
- Preparing legal memoranda and litigation notices and objections.
- Conducting legal research and analyzing Saudi laws, regulations, and judicial rulings.
- Providing legal support on corporate governance and compliance issues.
- Managing and monitoring commercial, civil, and labor-related cases.
- Communicating with clients and preparing regular legal reports.
- Supervising junior attorneys and legal assistants as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- At least ten years of experience in the field of law and legal consulting.
- Proven and advanced knowledge of Saudi legal systems.
- Strong experience in Saudi corporate law and commercial transactions.
- Experience in litigation and preparing legal memoranda before Saudi courts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance sector and resolving insurance disputes.
- Experience in government contracts and competitive bids.
- Experience in corporate governance.
- Previous work with Saudi law firms or companies directly dealing with the Saudi market.
