Overview

Responsibilities involve opening and closing service, preparing supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, managing work zones, handling cash register operations, taking and recording orders, preparing hot dishes and beverages, ensuring equipment is on/off as needed, managing coffee service and tables, washing dishes and utensils, maintaining sufficient change, and end-of-shift cash counts and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Open and close service, prepare supplies and tools, clean equipment and areas, secure doors.
• Install, stock, and maintain work zones.
• Enter orders in the cash register and process payments.
• Take orders, record in the MICROS system, and prepare hot dishes and beverages.
• Ensure equipment (e.g., coffee makers) is switched on/off at the appropriate times.
• Manage coffee service and tables; wash dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day.
• Ensure adequate cash on hand; perform cash counts at shift end, complete cash reports, address cash discrepancies, and secure cash receipts.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents or injuries; complete required safety trainings and certifications.
• Maintain clean, professional uniform and appearance; protect company assets; uphold confidentiality.
• Support colleagues and treat them with dignity and respect; assist the team in achieving shared objectives; comply with quality assurance standards.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds (11.3 kg) without assistance; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or a full shift.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats; inspect tools and equipment for defects; handle objects of varied sizes and weights requiring hand-eye coordination.
• Reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull, and squat; navigate confined or elevated spaces; ascend/descend stairs and service ramps.
• Greet and recognize customers according to company standards; communicate clearly and professionally; answer phones with proper etiquette.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors that are within the scope of the position.

• Education:

  High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience:

  No prior related experience required.

• Supervisory experience:
  None required.

  None required.
