Role Overview

The Associate Manager L&D is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance employee skills and performance. They conduct needs assessments, develop tailored learning initiatives, and measure program effectiveness to ensure alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives. This role includes facilitating training sessions, driving career development, and leveraging technology to track and optimize learning outcomes.

Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Partner with stakeholders to understand learning and development needs and design and deliver solutions that align with our business objectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify the specific L&D needs and skills gaps, as well as the most appropriate way to respond to their needs.

Create and continuously update the curriculum for the respective function and ensure that it is:

Updated, aligned to business objectives and global requirements, adherence is tracked and reported on.

Prepare training plans for the respective delivery areas and manage the execution thereof.

When new courses are needed, sourcing vendors, facilitators, and materials.

When necessary, design, develop, and deliver training programs, including e-learning, virtual training, and instructor-led training, that meet the needs of our employees.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.

Design and draw reports on completed training and interpret the data in a useful, simple format to be understood by business.

Prepare data analysis and insights from the reporting.

Draw reports on Compliance training completion as according to policy and procedures.

Drive Learning technology in the function where applicable.

Roll out of mandatory Global RM trainings on GLMS (Global Learning Management System).

Design and develop training materials.

Submit SOQM controls on an annual and quarterly basis.

Prepare and track Compliance metrics for L&D, execute L&D point deduction exercise for defaulters in obtaining necessary CPD hours.

Manage the Induction program for new joiners and deliver Weekly and Monthly HR and L&D Induction.

L&D support for annual Audit trainings: IFRS, ICOFR, Audit Foundations, QPR, etc. including managing and tracking completion of mandatory Audit training through Power Apps dashboard and providing support and guidance to new employees on how to use the dashboard.

Professional qualifications, to be the main point of contact, support, and guidance for ADIT, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW.

Management of all learning platforms: GLMS, Linked In Learning, Degreed, and Kaltura.

Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to Learning and Development.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field.

5+ years working experience in learning and development.

Previous experience in Big 4 / Multinational organizational experience.

Experience in a technology delivery center environment highly advantageous.

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with business leaders and managers.

Ability to think strategically and creatively and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in the Learning Management systems.

Proficiency in Power Bi is highly advantageous.

Preference is for bilingual (fluent in both English & Arabic).
