Position: Â Associate Food Designer II (Beverages)
Job Summary
IFF Dubai Creation and Design Center is looking for an Associate Designer tojoin ourdynamicteamof product designers.
An Associate Designer works under guidance to develop skills and technical knowledge to become a professional beverage designer.
Main Responsibilities
Manages assigned projects with supervision from the team leader/manager.
Develops an understanding of local customers, category market and consumer preferences.
Execution of customer-related and internal tasks in closecollaborationwith colleagues in the group and across the organization.
Produces product samples in accordance with the project brief, with close cooperation from the Beverage Design team and Project owner.
Seeking and developing new application solutions for the beverage industry.
Proactively identify opportunities to align with trends and technologies within the region.
Daily maintenance of equipment and ensuring compliance with GMP standards and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Performs product evaluation, analysis, and stability test.
Contributing to maintaining a safe, efficient working environment.
Key Requirements:
Relevant educational background (Bachelor or Master’s degree in food technology, Food Engineering or related life sciences degree).
The role requires 2+ years’ experience in the industrial food, ingredient or flavor industry.
Apositive attitudecombined with a curious and creative mindset.
Must demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and being receptive to feedback.
Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and the ability to learn quickly.
Ability to efficiently organize and complete tasks on time.
Technical/report writing skill, ensuring accuracy of data shared with technical partners, commercial team, and customers.
Knowledge of basic beverage formulation, ingredient functionality, processing, packaging, GMP, and regulatory matters related to beverage. Industry experience is an advantage.
Strong presentation skills.
Good level of MS Office knowledge.
Willing to travel internationally.
Fluency in both spoken and written English; fluency in French is a plus.
