We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in Business Analysis to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the vision of the product, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring that the development team delivers high quality products that meet customer needs. The Product Owner will act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, translating business requirements into actionable tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and team members.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer feedback, and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including development, design, and marketing, to ensure alignment on product goals.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
- Monitor product progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the development team to ensure clarity and understanding of requirements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
- Provide training and support to users and stakeholders as needed.
Mandatory
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile environments.
- Strong Business Analysis skills, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, or similar).
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience in the technology or software development industry.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design thinking.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMI ACP).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7 10 years of experience in product management or business analysis.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering products in a fast paced environment.
