Job Description: Entry-Level Accountant
Position Title: Entry-Level Accountant
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Recordkeeping:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including basic data entry for daily transactions under supervision.
Reconcile accounts and help prepare financial reports with guidance from senior team members.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Process invoices, payments, and receipts with training and oversight.
Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Month-End Closing:
Assist with journal entries and account closing procedures at the end of each month.
Perform routine reconciliations as directed.
Tax and Compliance:
Assist in preparing VAT and other tax-related documents in compliance with local regulations, with training provided.
Ensure financial records meet company policies and legal standards, with support from the team.
Reporting:
Generate basic financial and accounting reports using templates and tools provided.
Assist in audits and other financial reviews by organizing and providing requested documentation.
General Support:
Provide support to the finance team in daily tasks and participate in special projects to gain hands-on experience.
Respond to basic queries related to financial transactions and documentation, seeking guidance when needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Language Skills: Proficient in English (spoken and written).
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
