Assistant Product Manager
Job Description:
As a Assistant Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of your assigned product line(s). Your role involves strategic planning, product development, and market analysis to ensure that the store offers cutting-edge technology/products, delivering exceptional value to customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage product lifecycles, optimize inventory, and implement innovative marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage the product roadmap for electronics.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Lead the product development process, including planning, timelines, and launch.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
Manage product lifecycle from ideation through post-launch analysis.
Ensure product features meet customer needs and business objectives.
Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and industry trends to identify opportunities for product improvement.
Work with supply chain teams to ensure on-time production and delivery of products.
Analysed Inventory productivity at category level, store level, by brand etc in order to recommend optimum inventory levels.
Responsible for accurate forecasting of sales & margins
Preparing seasonal analysis report including initial sales plan, sales and product phasing and feedback for planning packs
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
Min. 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within consumer electronics or retail industry.
Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle.
Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes is a plus.
