We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to join our growing team and support our project operations with efficient sourcing and supply chain management.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and industry-savvy Procurement Officer with proven experience in the interior fit-out or construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring timely procurement to support ongoing fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials (joinery, MEP, finishes, furniture, etc.) required for fit-out and interior projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors in the interior fit-out industry
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project schedules and budgets
- Compare quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and ensure cost-effective procurement
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and the design department to determine material and equipment needs
- Track deliveries, ensure timely supply to sites, and resolve any delays or discrepancies
- Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, and procurement history
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience, specifically within the interior decoration, fit-out, or construction industry(mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and industry suppliers/vendors in the UAE market
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
