ABOUT
THE ROLE
We are searching for a talented and passionate Assistant Pastry Chef to join the culinary team at a prominent luxury lifestyle hotel in Doha, Qatar. Supporting the Executive Pastry Chef, you will play a key role in delivering world‑class pastries, desserts, and baked creations that reflect the creativity and sophistication of a truly exceptional dining program.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high‑quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods across the property
- Support menu development and the creation of seasonal offerings alongside the Executive Pastry Chef
- Maintain consistency, quality, and meticulous attention to detail across all pastry output
- Uphold hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Assist with stock monitoring and inventory control within the pastry kitchen
- Support and mentor junior team members as required
WHAT YOU BRING
- Formal culinary training from a French school of Culinary Arts is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
- Strong command of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation
- A creative, detail‑oriented approach with genuine passion for the pastry arts
- Ability to perform at a high standard in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
