Job Responsibilities
Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimum service and meet guest needs. Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises. Inspect storage areas for organization, FIFO compliance, and cleanliness. Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment / Open Door Policy. Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; and complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns. Ensure adherence to quality standards and recommend improvements for efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information in various formats and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift objects up to 50 pounds; manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills; move through narrow or elevated spaces; and perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 2 years of related work experience.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None required.
