Assistant Mechanic Jobs in Dubai at Gujjar Transport
Our group of company is actively expanding and is currently hiring Garage Helpers / Assistant Mechanics to support workshop operations. We are looking for individuals who are ready to join immediately and contribute their energy, willingness to learn, and teamwork to our real estate, transport and logistics company in Umm Al Quwain and Dubai.
Position: WORKSHOP HELPER / ASSISTANT MECHANIC / GARAGE HELPER
Job Description:
· As a Garage Helper / Assistant Mechanic, you will assist senior mechanics in performing maintenance and repair work on vehicles, while ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within the workshop. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in the automotive or heavy vehicle industry.Previous experience in the maintenance or transport industry will be an advantage to you.
Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and troubleshoot heavy vehicle issues efficiently.
· Assist mechanics in diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment.
· Support in basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacement, and cleaning of parts.
· Help in handling tools, equipment, and spare parts during repairs.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and work areas.
· Follow safety procedures and workshop guidelines at all times.
· Assist in loading/unloading materials and workshop support tasks.
· Carry out instructions from supervisors and senior mechanics efficiently.
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a garage or workshop environment is preferred.
· Basic knowledge of vehicle parts and tools is an advantage.
· Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
· Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
· Must be available to join immediately (after trial period)
· Preference will be to Hindi speaking candidates.
· Preference will be given to candidates with experience in UAE or GCC
