Job Purpose:

The Assistant Marketing Manager is a key marketing leadership role within Pizza Hut and the broader Americana Restaurants organization. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our marketing team. In this role, you will take ownership of brand strategy execution, new product development (NPD) pipeline management, and go-to-market launches — while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive brand growth and customer engagement across the UAE market.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Brand Strategy & Campaign Management

  • Assist in the development and execution of brand strategies and campaigns across the UAE market.
  • Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive landscape, and category opportunities.
  • Manage marketing campaigns from concept to execution across digital, social media, print, and in-store channels.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for optimization.

2. New Product Development (NPD) Management

  • Own and manage the end-to-end NPD pipeline for the UAE market, from concept generation through to product launch.
  • Lead the development of new product briefs, working closely with culinary, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.
  • Manage consumer research and concept testing (e.g. Zappi) to validate product ideas and generate actionable insights prior to launch.
  • Track and maintain the NPD tracker across multiple product lines and markets, ensuring visibility of timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Partner with the Regional teams on the product and innovation calendar, contributing local market perspective to influence regional innovation priorities.
  • Manage product transitions and ingredient/formulation changes across markets, coordinating with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

3. Marketing Calendar Management

  • Own and maintain the annual marketing calendar, integrating NPD launches, brand campaigns, seasonal activations, and key trading periods.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation across all planned activities.
  • Proactively flag risks or conflicts in the calendar and propose solutions to keep plans on track.

4. Stakeholder & Agency Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Digital, and the Regional Marketing team.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and partners — including creative, media, research, and licensing — ensuring briefs are clear and outputs are delivered on time and on brand.
  • Liaise with Franchisor marketing, NPD & Supply Chain teams to ensure all brand activities are aligned with global guidelines and approval processes.
  • Manage IP and licensing partnerships where relevant to NPD activations, including legal and compliance coordination.

5. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on KPIs for brand and NPD initiatives, including sales performance, brand health metrics, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Utilize consumer insight tools and data platforms to monitor brand health and inform marketing decisions.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and present findings to senior management.

Strategic Accountabilities :

  • Partner with the MENA Regional team on the product and innovation calendar to influence and shape future innovation for the local consumer.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the local consumer and ensure every brand and product decision is grounded in consumer needs and insights.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual brand plan and long-term NPD innovation roadmap.

Academic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • MBA

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience with a brand management background
  • Hands-on experience in NPD management and product launch execution within FMCG, QSR, or a related consumer goods environment
  • Experience working with consumer research methodologies and insight platforms (e.g. Zappi, YouGov, Nielsen, Kantar)
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and external agencies
  • GCC market experience is a strong advantage
