The opportunity
EY’s Financial Services Consulting practice provides risk management support to banks, insurers, and asset managers. Our team includes individuals who have industry, client, andproduct knowledgeas well as business, quantitative, regulatory,project managementand technology professionals. We are seeking agile individuals tojoin our team. Along with our team, you’ll work together to coordinate the delivery of risk management, regulatory and business performance services to a variety of clients, in particular for insurance.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
In-depth knowledge and experience of IFRS 17
8 years of work experience
Excellent academic background, a qualified Chartered Accountant or a Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics and Mathematics
In-depth knowledge of insurance operations in particular general insurance and reinsurance
Seeking candidates skilled in enterprise risk management, with a background in insurance and familiarity with insurance risk regulations
Preference for individuals well-versed in Saudi insurance regulations
Additional risk qualifications are considered an advantage
A Bachelor’s degree is a mandatory educational requirement
Proficiency in Arabic is essential
Strong analytical,problem solvingand interpersonal skills
Skills in quantitative methods of finance will be an added plus
Ability to interact with teams at all hierarchical levels and work under tight deadlines
Strongattention to detailwith a logical and methodical approach
Excellent business acumen
Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills
Strongcommunication, presentation and writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences
Knowledge and/or keen interest in topics such as:
Financial analysis, key performance indicators, and financial accounting
