We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager – Finance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, managing routine accounting tasks, and supporting the back-office operations to ensure smooth financial management. This is a key role in supporting the overall financial health of the company and ensuring that financial procedures comply with both internal standards and external regulations.
Responsibilities
Routine Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting functions such as general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly closing procedures.
Bank Reconciliation: Ensure that all bank transactions are accurately reconciled and reported in line with company policies.
Invoicing & VAT: Manage the creation and dispatch of invoices and ensure VAT returns are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports to ensure that they are accurate, timely, and in compliance with legal requirements.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce.
Experience: 4 to 5 years of accounting experience, with hands-on knowledge of routine accounting tasks, invoicing, VAT, and bank reconciliation.
Certifications: CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
