Position: Assistant Manager, Compliance & Risk (Qatari & children of Qatari mother)
Job Summary
Support the Manager Compliance & Risk of the SBU for all functions and tasks relating to Compliance and Risk for the Wholesale SBU, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, quality checks, process enhancements, and automation for efficient and timely delivery of all matters related to AML, KYC, Sanctions, Non-Financial, and Financial Risk functions, where the business is responsible for delivery, coordination, or support with other areas of the Bank.

Accountabilities
Handle matters related to Compliance and Risk
Manage Non-Financial Risk matters
Oversee Credit Risk Monitoring matters
Coordinate MRC matters
Perform Information Security tasks
Coordinate BCP tasks
Address QCB matters
Handle QCB AML/KYC matters
Coordinate and close open items in the Compliance Risk Committee
Coordinate and close open items in the Operational Risk Committee
Other Accountabilities Required Experience
At least 5 years of relevant experience in QA/Audit
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical, investigative research, and documentation skills
Ability to work agilely in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, especially under time-critical situations
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion
Proactive and independent work capability
Detail-oriented and systemic thinking skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
