Position: Assistant Head Teacher for Upper Primary
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic and creative Assistant Head Teacher for Upper Primary who would like the opportunity to work in a progressive and student-centered Primary School.
Typical responsibilities include:
To help lead the school in the policies and practices of continuous school improvement and staff development in relation to Primary.
To play a major role in the development of high quality teaching and learning in the Primary school.
To lead, motivate, support, challenge and develop staff to secure the highest standards and expectations.
Contribute to the effective and efficient management of the school.
Job specification:
* Successful candidates will hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.
A successful candidate will:
Have excellent subject and curriculum knowledge.
Have excellent classroom practice.
Have knowledge in UK Curriculum.
Have experience teaching second language speakers would be advantageous.
Encourage and foster a teaching environment which is built on respect, inspiration and motivation.
Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues.
