We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the overall leadership of one of Dubai's most exciting lifestyle dining destinations. This role is ideal for a dynamic hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury restaurants, high-volume operations, and entertainment-driven venues.
Key Responsibilties:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, pool, and nightlife venue.
- Lead, inspire, and develop department managers and front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure flawless execution of service standards during high-volume lunch, dinner, and nightlife operations.
- Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining a strong presence on the floor and building relationships with VIP and returning guests.
- Work closely with Reservations, Guest Relations, Entertainment, Kitchen, Bar, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor sales performance, labour costs, productivity, and operational KPIs to maximize profitability.
- Coach and mentor managers through regular feedback, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and brand standards.
- Handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining the highest level of hospitality.
- Support the General Manager in achieving commercial, operational, and financial objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Assistant General Manager within luxury lifestyle dining, or nightlife venues.
- Proven experience managing high-volume operations while maintaining premium service standards.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop multicultural teams.
- Commercially driven with a solid understanding of P&L, labour management, and revenue optimization.
- Excellent knowledge of luxury service standards and VIP guest management.
- Experience working with entertainment-led concepts, DJs, live performances, and event-driven operations is highly preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong advantage.
- Previous international lifestyle dining/nightlife experience is highly desirable.
